Eric Gordon scored 24 points (5/10 three pointers) and added a board, assist, and steal along the way.

It appears that Gordon will be the starting shooting guard in Houston from day one while Pat Bev will be moved in and out of the lineup for his defensive ability. Gordon taking a whopping 10 attempts from deep is going to be unsurprising in a few weeks. The Rockets have never really had league average three point shooters and have no added two good ones in Gordon and Ryan Anderson. Gordon definitely has sleeper appeal, and at a minimum should be able to be a three point specialist.
