Elfrid Payton logged 25 minutes on Monday and scored 10 points with seven assists and a steal.

Payton just hasn’t been able to make that leap that many thought he would. It does hurt that the Magic are playing without their number one and two options, but this presented a strong opportunity for Payton to make the use of it, but he’s fallen flat again. Owners can only hold on and hope he has another strong second half similar to last year’s.
