Dwyane Wade finished Sunday’s win with only 11 points but managed to add a triple, five boards, six assists, two steals and two blocks in 34 minutes.
Wade shot just 4-of-12 (including a missed dunk that you’ve probably already seen) but managed to chip in in every category. He was the only member of Chicago’s starting five to finish on the positive side of the plus-minus ledger, perhaps underscoring a sneakily solid night. Rajon Rondo jacked up 15 shots tonight, and you have to think that he and Wade will flip-flop attempt numbers as the series goes by. The C’s boast some impressive wing defenders who won’t make Father Prime’s series an easy one, but he should be able to score more in future games – especially if Boston really loads up to stop Jimmy Butler.
