“It’s no secret that the next evolution of [DeRozan’s] game is [three-point shooting],” said Casey. DeRozan is an elite scorer in this game, averaging a career-high 27.3 points per game this past season. It’s safe to say that he has improved his game every season and will likely look to work on his 3-point shot during the offseason. He’s a career 28.1 percent shooting from deep, but if he can add a consistent 3-point shot to his game, look out.
