The Heat announced today that Derrick Jones Jr. has rejoined the team and will be available as they face the Rockets tonight.

Jones made some surprising starts earlier the season averaging 4.1 points, 2.7 rebounds and 19.4 minutes while shooting 42.4 percent from the field. His recall tonight probably has to do with the fact that Kelly Olynyk is considered questionable with a shoulder injury. Justise Winslow was removed from the injury report and is expected to play so Jones likely won’t be getting much playing time tonight.
