Dennis Schroder posted 25 points, three rebounds, nine assists, one steal and three 3-pointers in 35 minutes in the Hawks game 1 loss to the Wizards on the road.

Schroder had his hands full with John Wall tonight, and he’ll have them full this entire series. On the bright side though, he still managed to put up a great stat line even tasked with guarding Wall. The Hawks will need more than just Schroder if they want to upset the Wizards, but if he can keep playing this well they definitely have a chance. The Wizards were playing really physical but thats just their style, so if the Hawks want to win they’re going to have to get used to it.
