• Damian Lillard finished with 34 points, six assists on 12-of-24 from the field and 2-of-6 from deep in Monday’s loss to the Warriors.

Lillard also hit 8-of-9 from the stripe and played 42 minutes. Unfortunately despite the efficient shooting he had very little help from any of his teammates. The Blazers needed both him and C.J. McCollum to have big nights just to keep the game competitive and McCollum had a bad night. The Blazers were no match the historically good Warriors team especially without their center Jusuf Nurkic who is a big reason why they were even in the playoffs at all.  If McCollum can make another jump in development next season and Nurkic comes back healthy then they will have a very good shot and making the playoffs again and securing a better seed. They could be a dark horse team next season similar to the jump the Rockets have made this season.
