• The Indy Star’s Clifton Brown is reporting that C.J. Miles hasn’t yet decided whether or not he’ll opt out of his contract this offseason and test free agency.

It’s a nice sentiment from Miles, but it’s almost a slam dunk that he’ll hit the market. His player option for next year is for $4.8 million, which is chump change for a guy who can play shooting guard, small forward or power forward and can shoot plenty of threes. He could be looking at eight figure offers in free agency if the right teams come calling. Miles averaged 10.6 points, 3.0 rebounds, 0.6 steals and 2.2 triples in 23.4 minutes per game. He shot .434 from the field and a career-best .413 from deep, so he’ll have his fair share of suitors in free agency.
