• C.J. McCollum hit 9-of-16 shots to snap a nasty shooting slump in Monday’s win, finishing with 25 points to go with a career-high tying six treys, two boards and two assists.

McCollum did not have a steal or a block.  He hit just 29.9 percent of his shots on 117 attempts over the six games prior to tonight’s contest, though one wouldn’t know it from the glowing reviews he got in the same week.  He’s going to be a good player as long as injury issues don’t resurface, but he needs to keep his efficiency in check and be able to withstand whatever adversity strikes because he hasn’t really had any this year.  That beast hits the best of them and regardless we like him as a mid-round asset.
