• Blake Griffin scored 20 points on 9-of-14 shooting in just 23 minutes of playing time in a blowout loss to the Warriors.

The Clippers were demolished by 46 points, so the low minute total doesn’t suggest any type of injury setback for the Clippers’ top scorer. Griffin is returning to a Clippers’ squad without their all-pro point guard in Chris Paul, which should lead to an even higher usage rate than normal for the talented forward. There’s a chance the 4.7 assists per game Griffin was averaging could get a tick up for the next six weeks until Paul gets back.
