Anthony Davis (right ankle) could potentially sit out the Pelicans season opener on October 26 against the Nuggets.
Davis sustained a Grade 2 right ankle sprain in the first quarter of Wednesday’s game against Houston. The franchise player can’t catch a break right now. Davis’ durability is being tested and that may creep into your mind on draft day. Yet, when healthy Davis can be a top 6 player in drafts. Alongside Davis, E’Twaun Moore suffered a right heel contusion and is listed day-to-day, while forward Terrence Jones missed both games because of a right knee contusion.Â
