Andre Drummond had another fine game in what’s been an excellent season, finishing Sunday’s tilt with 25 points, 15 rebounds, a steal and three blocks while going 8-of-14 from the field and 9-of-13 from the charity stripe.
The points and rebounds are standard with Drummond but it’s the free throws that have paved the way for a serious leap up the fantasy rankings. He’s now at a career-best .617 from the stripe, and while that’s still tough to handle if you’re not punting on 4.9 attempts per game it’s a major improvement for a guy who had never topped .418 before. That, plus Drummond’s admirable 3.8 dimes per game, have vaulted him to top-20 value — free throws included.
