Allen Crabbe put on a show with 34 points and six 3-pointers as the Nets fell to the Pistons on Wednesday night.
This was a career night for Crabbe who made 13-of-22 from the field to hit this 34-point mark. He has generally served as a late-round specialist for most of the year with upside in 3-pointers and free throw percentage. The issue is that even on a night like this where he scored heavily, he just didn’t provide much else (two rebounds, one block and two turnovers). He will continue to have value as a player who can knock down threes but it just isn’t an exciting skill set.
