Al Jefferson scored 20 or more points for the third straight game in Friday’s 113-88 win over the lowly Sixers, hitting 11-of-19 shots for 26 points, 10 boards, two assists, one steal and five blocks.
It’s unfair to put a crafty vet like Big Al on the floor with the Sixers’ young, struggling squad. The contract year big man has pushed his way up to top 30-50 value (9/8 cat) and we’re entering the beginning of a sell-high period it seems. Marvin Williams bounced back after an early ejection and put up 11 points, nine rebounds, one steal, two blocks, two treys and a 3-of-3 mark from the line. Like teammate Jeremy Lamb, the fantasy universe was extremely slow to take up Marvin and he’s killing them for that decision so far.
