Aaron Gordon scored 32 points on 11-of-20 shooting (3-of-3 3PTs, 7-of-7 FTs) with 12 rebounds, one steal and two blocks in the Magic’s 113-109 win over the Pistons on Wednesday.
Gordon was as negatively impactful to fantasy teams as any player drafted this season because he cost a mid-round pick and he also stuck in a lot of lineups while producing south of top-200 value. His tendency to believe he was a perimeter player rather than a slashing high-percentage guy was the bane of his play for most of the season. There’s still a lot of upside but if he keeps moving away from the hoop it will be bad for his value. He did finish the year on a torrid early-mid round run and that pushed his season-long value to top-100 in 80 games played. Â
