• Danilo Gallinari will reportedly decline his $16.1 million player option but hopes to re-sign with the Nuggets.

This is just confirming what everyone already expected. This is the right move for Gallinari. Even though some teams may be concerned with his injury history, his talent should be enough to earn him a better contract. Many teams are expected to throw money at him and even though the Nuggets said re-signing him will be one of their primary focuses, it’s anyone’s guess where he will end up. After missing the entire 2013-14 campaign, Gallo played 59, 53 and 63 games in each of the last three seasons. This is why he falls down draft boards in fantasy but he is well within the top-50 when he does play. This season, he averaged 18.2 points, 5.1 rebounds and 2.2 assists while knocking down 2.0 triples per game with 6.1 free throws at 90.2 percent.
