Darren Collison scored eight points on 2-of-6 shooting with three rebounds, four assists and two steals in just 25 minutes of action on Friday against the Rockets.

Collison should be playing 33 minutes per game as the Kings’ second or third best player but Dave Joerger isn’t quite sold on what he brings to the table.  We’re pretty close to fully confident that Joerger will stop messing with his minutes but given the way Joerger has been on the wrong end of a lot of rotation decisions this year — we’re watching this with caution.  Collison should be a top-50 player but that might have to slide if the coach isn’t putting his best players on the floor.
