• Al Jefferson scored a game high 26 points vs. the Magic on Wednesday night.

“Big Al” has really picked up his play during this last week. This is the fourth time in five games that he has scored in double figures and is fantastic news for Hornets fans with the playoffs right around the corner. Jefferson shot 11-of-15 tonight adding four rebounds, two assists and one block in 23 minutes of action. The win gives the Hornets their most successful season since the 1999-2000 season. With a 48-34 record the Hornets will finish sixth in a very competitive Eastern Conference and will start on the road against a very tough Miami Heat team. This should be one of the most exciting first round match-ups.
