Ty Lawson is once again in the news for all the wrong reasons. Marc Stein of ESPN reported the details of his absence on Twitter:
ESPN sources say Lawson, who has been playing well in camp, was late for a shootaround, then missed the Kings’ trip to the game in Lexington

Ty Lawson needs to be on his best behavior this season. Between his off-court issues and his struggles in both Houston and Indiana last year, it’s important for him to show that he’s turned a corner. Â While his play this preseason has been good, he will now be meeting with Kings brass to determine his future with the team.
Sources also tell our Aaron Bruski that Jordan Farmar is likely to make the team so you can do the math with that. Lawson’s days in Sacramento could be numbered and it sounds like he’ll have to make a great pitch to survive this.
Stopping short of offering any certainty regarding Ty Lawson, Kings sources expect Jordan Farmar to make the squad. #RosterMath
