• The Sacramento Kings lost tonight’s matchup against the Golden State Warriors 96-105.  Despite the loss, Sacramento kept the game close the whole night, and actually led going into halftime.  There were many positives tonight, and below are some of the more encouraging stats from tonight’s game:

    • Ben McLemore took 13 shots and made 5, which is an improvement over his 3-10 performance against the Lakers.   Mclemore’s biggest issue to this point has been his inconsistency, so seeing him string together performances like this is always a good sign.
    • DeMarcus Cousins was dominant tonight, scoring 20 points in just over 20 minutes on a very efficient 11 shots.  Cousins appears to be extremely comfortable in Joerger’s offense so far
    • For the second night in a row, the assists were distributed all across the roster, with starting point guard Ty Lawson getting just three dimes in 20 minutes.  This appears to be a result of the Kings running less offense through that position, and transitioning to Joerger’s high post system.

Overall, tonight was a great showing against a very strong opponent. Kings fans should be encouraged by the progress to this point.
