Ty Lawson made headlines recently when he reportedly missed a team flight to Kentucky for a game against the Washington Wizards, and the initial details of the story can be found here.

Since then, James Ham of CSN Bay Area reported on Twitter that Ty Lawson will remain on the Kings active roster after meeting with team officials:

According to Joerger, no incident with Lawson. He had a personal issue. Didn’t travel with team. Kings moving forward with him on roster.

Sean Cunningham of ABC10 Sacramento also took to Twitter to provide some thoughts from Kings General Manager Vlade Divac:

Vlade Divac said Ty Lawson did miss flight to Kentucky. He said after meeting with him he felt good about him on he team going forward

At this point, no information has been released regarding the reason for his absence, but the team is clearly willing to give Lawson an opportunity to stay on the roster.
