Hey there hoop junkies! We’ve got some Daily Dish action for you, covering Wednesday night’s games. Six teams took to the hardwood to play out Game 2 of their respective series in the NBA playoffs. Favorites took home victories and claimed 2-0 leads.

Some of you, who are playing in fantasy NBA playoffs leagues, must have gotten kicks out of big performances by some of the usual suspects, namely John Wall, Russell Westbrook, James Harden, and Draymond Green.

Atlanta Hawks 101 – Washington Wizards 109

Washington’s backcourt shook off their shooting struggles from early in the game and shot their way out of the slump. Both John Wall and Bradley Beal came up big in the fourth quarter to lead the Wizards past the Hawks. Wall came through with 32 points, five rebounds, nine assists, two treys, a steal, and a block. Beal, on the other hand, dropped 31 points, four triples, three dimes, and three steals.

Marcin Gortat put up a solid showing with 14 points, 10 boards, and five blocks, while Otto Porter put up a quiet effort in 23 minutes with four points and three steals.

Paul Millsap led Atlanta with an impressive effort of his own. He filled up the stat sheet with 27 points, 10 boards, four assists, two steals, a trey, and a block. Dennis Schroder did his best with 26 points, four rebounds, and six assists.

Oklahoma City Thunder 111 – Houston Rockets 115

As expected, Russell Westbrook delivered yet another monster line. Unfortunately, his solo heroics would not be enough to save the Thunder against the onslaught of the explosive Rockets. Westbrook delivered 51 points, 10 rebounds, 13 assists, two triples, and four steals. Victor Oladipo struggled with his shot, hitting just 4-of-14 from the field. He finished the game with 11 points, nine rebounds, three assists, and a steal. Outside of that duo, there wasn’t much to speak of from the rest of OKC as far as production was concerned.

James Harden scored 35 points, grabbed four rebounds, dished out eight dimes, while also hitting three treys.

Eric Gordon and Lou Williams combined four 43 points, scoring 22 and 21 points, respectively.

Portland Trail Blazers 81 – Golden State Warriors 110

Despite the absence of Kevin Durant, the Warriors still managed to cruise to an easy win over the Blazers. Both Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson had a rough shooting night. They combined for a poor 12-of-35 shooting from the field, and 7-of-20 from downtown. The Dubs did get solid efforts from Javale McGee, who scored 15 points and blocked four shots; and Draymond Green, who did a bit of everything with six points, 12 boards, 10 assists, a trey, a steal, and three blocks.

The Portland backcourt duo’s shooting woes were more pronounced. Damian Lillard and C.J. McCollum shot a combined 9-of-34 from the field. Lillard ended the game with 12 points and four assists, while McCollum had 11 points, five rebounds, and two dimes.

Maurice Harkless was able to contribute across the board with 15 points, eight rebounds, a trey, a steal, and a block.
